Jackson sighting in Overland Park, Kansas !

At approximately 11:18 PM on July 23, a patron at the Steak 'N Shake off Jefferson Blvd in Overland Park, Kansas registered the first known sighting of Michael Jackson since his death on June 25 of this year.

"Definitely him," said local parking attendant Vicki Cogville, 41. "I was inside having a steakburger and a shake, and this real skinny guy comes in by himself, and he's real pale too, and he sat down at a booth. Well I looked at him and I just knew it was Michael Jackson. I couldn't believe his waitress wasn't picking up on it."

Unfortunately, the witness was not able to confirm her sighting, as, she explained, "I got up to go to the bathroom, and then I was going to ask to take my picture with him, but when I got out, he was gone. Apparently he just had a shake or something."

Sociologists are surprised at the timing of the incident, as according to Cornell professor Bernard Phillips, "typically you don't get these dead celebrity sightings until at least six months have elapsed since the individual passed away."

Philips did note, however, that the rest of the account is consistent with this type of sighting.

"Oh yeah, this is a textbook 'Elvis sighting,' if you will," said the professor. "Witness with a GED-level education or lower, making under $35,000 a year, unremarkable sighting location, in this case a low-end chain diner, and as I understand it, the witness owns an inordinate number of whitewash jeans. You can check all the boxes on this one."

The professor went on to say that now the first report is "out of the barn," the public could expect to begin hearing of the late King of Pop's appearances at truck stops, post offices, rural fairgrounds, and train stations.

Second sighting of Michael Jackson 'ghost'

A builder from Stafford (United Kingdom) claims the King of Pop's face appeared in a photograph of his car bonnet, a day after the singer's death.

Gary Sloggett, 43, says he only noticed the spooky image on his Rover 200 once the snaps were uploaded to his computer.



It follows a report by US television network CNN in which a shadowy figure appears to walk past a doorway at the star's Neverland ranch in California.

Michael Jackson died at his apartment in Los Angeles on June 26, aged 50.

'I had just flown in from Cleveland to LA for business and was driving thru Grand Ave in Los Olivos, California at around 5am in the morning on the way to an early sales meeting.
I see a glowing bright green light slightly to the North and I know it sounds kind of timely and weird but this hovering light appeared to be situated right over where Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch would stand. It was way larger than a star and appeared sphere shaped. The UFO hovered for a few minutes and then shot up and off. Thought you might be interested. It really did happen, this is no joke. Happy to respond to emails.

'I don't really believe in things like this but a day or two after MJ passed, me & my 2 1/2 yr old son were in bed for the night...and he was looking up above our bed, near the ceiling & wall, like he was looking at something specifically, and he was smiling, and he kept saying "Jackson" very clearly. I loved MJ but am not obsessed or dillusional. I will always wonder what my son was really seeing. He definetely saw something. And "Jackson" is not a common word for him to be saying out the blue (other than he'd been on the news all day). Maybe it was MJ...'

Now unconfirmed reports of a UFO being seen at the public memorial in LA are starting to filter across the internet. We will keep you updated.

Will Sci-Fi's Ghost Hunters investigate Michael Jackson ghost sightings?

Rumors are flying on the internet tonight that the Sci-Fi network is being overwhelmed by email and phone calls urging the popular cable series "Ghost Hunters" to investigate the Neverland Ranch or the Gary, Indiana boyhood home of Michael Jackson.

Since the King of Pop died on June 25th at the age of fifty, ghost sightings of Michael Jackson have been widespread - most memorably on CNN during a tour of Neverland ranch on Larry King Live.

During the broadcast, a human-shaped male shadow walked across a corridor and then disappeared into a wall.

Some have claimed to even witness the spirit of Michael Jackson at his memorial on Tuesday at Staples Center.

Whether it's our own imagination or a legitimate haunting is for others to decide.

For now, millions of "Ghost Hunters" fans want the popular paranormal investigators from TAPS to track down the spirit of Michael Jackson.

Producers of the series could not be reached for comment.

Jackson’s Death Provokes Memories of Elvis Conspiracy

Let’s quash this rumor before it gets started: Michael Jackson did not fake his own death to escape the exhausting rigors of stardom. The troubled man is gone. Let him go.

The problem is, when a legendary rock performer checks out early, desperate fans sometimes build such fables. From Jim Morrison to Tupac, enthusiasts who can’t let go (and Jackson had more than a few of those) insist their beloved musical icon is hiding in Iowa, not in heaven.



No fandom built its “faked death” mythology with more richly honed detail than the followers of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll whose untimely passing seems eerily similar to the death of the King of Pop. Jackson’s unexpected passing at 50 makes one pine for the late 1980s and The Elvis Conspiracy specials.


Hosted by the late Bill Bixby, and featuring such unshakable sources as Gail Brewer-Giorgio and Elvis impersonator Johnny Harra, The Elvis Conspiracy used uncanny re-creations of post-death Elvis sightings and grainy photo evidence to “prove” Presley faked his demise to escape the limelight.

The most entertaining “evidence” presented during the “Elvis is alive” craze was a 1980s phone conversation recorded by Brewer-Giorgio with a man claiming to be Elvis. The tape “proves” that, when you want to go into hiding to escape endless fame, there’s always time to make a phone call and check in with the media every so often.

The Elvis survival craze blew over in the ’90s, but fragments of it still exist: A mystery man publishes Elvis-ish YouTube videos and an unknown voice from just west of Memphis checks in for 60 Seconds with a King.

Now that Jackson’s is the rock star death du jour, it’s only a matter of time before a similar conspiracy mess gets rolling. 'Michael Jackson is still alive'

MICHAEL JACKSON faked his own death to escape the pressures of fame, according to hardcore fans who believe their hero is still alive.

Thousands have been logging onto websites to join a conspiracy theory that the star is simply preparing for the ultimate comeback.

One website has published a photo it claims is of Jacko on Sunday - three days after his death.

Another reckons he has been planning this for nearly a year and a half and is now in hiding in Eastern Europe.

A third believes Jacko was spotted crossing the border into Mexico hours after news of his death broke on Thursday.

The site has published a grainy photo it says is Jacko, above, and claims the man who died on Thursday was a Jacko double with a terminal illness whose family will be looked after in return.

A message reads: "Over the past few days there have been many Michael sightings. People have e-mailed with pictures and amazing stories.

"Michael is alive and well and happier than ever. The plot was 10 years in the making but it had to be done.

"We know he is alive because we have seen pictures. Clear pictures taken June 26, 2009 of Michael Jackson lounging poolside with friends.

"This site is dedicated to bringing the truth to his fans and ultimately to provide a forum for Michael to communicate with them.

"We feel he was forced to fake his death the same way companies are forced into bankruptcy.

"Those close to Michael have known about the plot for years, it was a very expensive and intricate venture.

"The man who died had a terminal illness and his death was long overdue. He was given facial surgery to resemble Michael exactly. No doubt his family will be taken care of.

"Soon we think Michael's new music will be out.

"Under a different name and with a drastically altered face, which sounds better than ever, even though a harmonizer has been used to disguise his voice.

"Michael wants to connect with his fans, he only wants to run from those who would seek to control him."

Another site, called Jackson Faked His Own Death, also claims Jacko's death is a stunt, but this time that he is holed up in Eastern Europe ready to return in person.

They claim: "Once he is rested and ready will blow the lid off his own hoax and then embark on the most spectacularly lucrative concert tour in the history of rock 'n' roll."

Then there is www.michaeljacksonhoaxdeath.com, which claims to have been told by sources from the United States Customs and Border Protection saw Michael and another unidentified man, crossing the California-Mexico Border late on Thursday night.

A witness says: "How could you mistake a face like that? I'm certain it was Michael Jackson.

"His hair was cut short and he was wearing dark sunglasses, but I've got a couple of his albums and seen him on TV and everything, so I have not doubt in my mind that it was him."

The man added that he had no idea the singer had died at the time of the sighting.

UFO seen over Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that pop icon Michael Jackson died aged 50 from suspected cardiac arrest at the end of last week. What you may not have heard is that there was a UFO sighted over the famous Neverland ranch in California just hours after the singer's death.

As reported by a clearly embarrassed Michael Cohen at All News Web, "a glowing green light" was reported by a reader hovering distinctly close to the music celebrity's ranch.

"I see a glowing bright green light slightly to the North and I know it sounds kind of timely and weird but this hovering light appeared to be situated right over where Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch would stand," an e-mail to Cohen from reader Dave Russo explained.

"It was way larger than a star and appeared sphere shaped," added Russo. "The UFO hovered for a few minutes and then shot up and off."

The Morningstarr Web site for paranormal activity speculated that the Dave Russo in question may be the well-known stand-up comedian of the same name.

A subsequent trawl of related Twitter destinations on the sighting uncovered a variety of reactions ranging from ponderous suspicion and semi-belief through to clear-cut humour -- with The Tech Herald's favourite being a link to a spoof site that, not only offered support for the UFO sighting, but also claimed to have evidence that Elvis was piloting the alien craft!

Now that is a conspiracy theory.
